Daniel D. Moses is a London based Freelance Photographer and Filmmaker, whose passion for viewing the world in a series of moving and still images, cuts and sounds was instilled from a young age after picking up his dad’s camera at the age of 10.
Self-taught with a degree, Daniel has project experience in the various fields of film, documentary, performance, corporate and charity at most stages of production. His ‘reportage’ style combined with multi media approach to projects, ensures that innovative and entertaining productions are always the outcome; with short and feature films, musicals, charity and corporate projects all benefiting from his multi media marketing and campaigning expertise.
Able to work on his own projects and others, recent projects have included stills photography feature film "Amoc", featuring performances from Tamer Hassan, Vas Blackwood and Danny John Jules.
Providing teaching assistance to sixth form media studies students, helping them achieve a high quality standard in their practical productions; and producing and directing original showreels for actors.
Developing film shorts with disability charity Scope, for a long term communication aids campaign, in partnership with BT. [coming March 2010]
Daniel has directed several original short films and documentaries and is developing a number of shorts. His original short film "The Rabbi" won 3 categories in the MySpace Short Film of the Month Film Festival in August 2008; and more recently produced a short documentary narrated by Prunella Scales CBE (Fawlty Towers). Featuring an interview from notorious gangster Frankie Fraser, it promoted a musical on race relations in 1960’s London.
When not daydreaming of escaping the country on a regular basis, Daniel plays various musical instruments and occasionally wanders around in the background of TV shows and films as an extra (not at the same time though)
Daniel is based at his studio in Farringdon, central London
Projects for 2010 include writing a short film and developing an original webisode series
He loves talking about himself in third person. Especially when writing his own bio.......
