"Writing, shooting and cutting a film in 3 weeks is no easy task, nor is trying to convince people to work wih you once you've told them that the pitch is about a 'crime fighting Rabbi'. With 1 day to film the majority of the scenes and zipping around 6 locations in North London, the filmmaking process was 'guerilla' style. Temporarily losing some of the equipment, being late, running to and fro to the parking meter, generally pissing off anyone in some kind of authority and trying to get a Greek guy playing an evil Rabbi to say the word "Shmuck" properly, were just some of the problems we had to endure to get the shoot done! Eternal thanks go to everyone who helped in any way to bring "The Rabbi" to the screen, especially my ridiculously talented cast and crew; some of which I have had the pleasure of working with before and some for the first time.
