DIRECTOR + PHOTOGRAPHER
I'm an award winning Jewish neurodivergent director, writer and producer with an eclectic body of work spanning comedy, brand, commercial, animation and music films.
As a commercial director, I’ve collaborated with leading brands and agencies — including Center Parcs, Sainsbury’s, Hyundai, Sudocrem, QuickBooks, and MTV — with playful takes on technology, arts, culture, lifestyle, history and parody set pieces.
My narrative work is driven by the funnier side of identity and culture, dealing with loss — emotional storytelling rooted in genre, characters with passions who find the light in between the darkness, whilst finding a silly setpiece to capture it in.
My short film PANDEMIC SPY — about espionage during the lockdown — was nominated for best comedy film at the BAFTA qualifying Carmarthen Bay Film Festival, selected at 21 international film festivals, and won 7 best comedy film awards.
My music videos for Cornershop, Maroon Town and Punkture Sluts have been screened at BAFTA qualifying London Short Film Festival and Aesthetica Film Festival.
I am interested in exploring more narrative projects in commercial, TV and film — and am looking for roles in second unit direction, as I develop a long form project about my family history as Jews in Iraq.
